Bales Worldwide is a pioneer in the touring market that provides tailor made holidays, small escorted group tours, chartered adventures and arrangements for special groups anywhere from 20 people to an entire company of 5000. In 2012 we won four British Travel awards:

The founding company British Air Brokers was established in 1947 by George Bales. The company expanded over the years and in 1960 Bales Tours was formed under the leadership of George Bales. The company provided escorted tours to Greece, the Holy Land and Egypt. Within a few years of starting, the pioneering spirit of the Bales family had covered the globe adding more and more destinations to its portfolio.

In December 2009, Bales Worldwide became a part of the Virgin Holidays family allowing it to continue providing reliable specialised and personal service whilst leveraging the support of a strong established holiday group. The company is still under the direction of Mandy Nickerson (nee Bales) and possesses the same passion and pioneering spirit that it was built on so many years ago.

The company has since evolved and grown to employ over 50 specialist travel industry experts and now offers tours all over the world ranging from Borneo to Tanzania, from Canada to the Galapagos, from Ethiopia to The Arctic archipelago, and Tibet to Morocco.
