Located in the Namib Naukluft Park, in the heart of the Namib Desert, the surreal
vistas of Sossusvlei are a major highlight of any visit to Namibia. Containing some
of the highest sand dunes in the world, some reaching a height of over 300 metres,
this remarkable area affords reasonably easy access to one of the world’s most
spectacular desert landscapes, where a walk to the top of one of the towering
dunes can present quite magnificent views across the desert scenery. Sunrise and
sunset offer the best times to visit, when the spectacular colours play across the
land, burnishing it in golden glows, presenting a wealth of magical photographic

DAMARALAND CAMP
DAMARALAND CAMP
This comfortable and friendly camp offers walks and drives
in one of the best wilderness areas in Namibia.Damaraland
Camp accommodates guests in 9 comfortable tented
rooms, with ensuite facilities including flush toilets and
showers with hot and cold running water. The dining room
and pub are combined under canvas, and an open fire is
enjoyed on calm evenings.A feature of the camp is the
unique rock pool. Activities throughout the area are in 4x4
vehicles, on mountain bikes and on foot. Although wildlife is
not concentrated,Damaraland Camp is situated where the
rare desert elephant roams, alongside gemsbok, springbok,

KULALA DESERT LODGE NAMIB DESERT
KULALA DESERT LODGE NAMIB DESERT
Situated on private property bordering the Namib Naukluft
Park, Kulala Desert Lodge lies in the heart of the Namib and
offers magnificent views of the famous red dunes of Sossusvlei
as well as magnificent mountainous scenery and vast open
plains. Twelve thatched and canvas chalets or "Kulalas" with
ensuite bathrooms and showers are set on wooden platforms
to provide maximum airflow. An option for outdoor enthusiasts
is that mattresses can be moved to the rooftop to sleep under
the stars from a private star gazing platform. The main lodge,
with décor inspired from Northern Africa, has a lounge, pub,
dining area and plunge pool, and offers a wrap-around
veranda that overlooks the waterhole. Nature drives and walks

ONGAVA GAME LODGE AND TENTED CAMP
ONGAVA GAME LODGE AND TENTED CAMP
Ongava Game Lodge is situated along the southern
boundary of Etosha National Park in the privately owned
Ongava Game Reserve. Accommodation comprises 12 airconditioned
brick, rock and thatch chalets, each with ensuite
facilities. Meals are either served in the main dining area
under thatch with a view over the camp's water hole, or on
the dining deck under the stars. Facilities include a swimming
pool and curio shop. The Ongava Tented Camp comprises
9 large comfortable walk-in tents with ensuite facilities,
including flush toilet and a hot shower. Activities at both
places include game drives into the Okaukuejo area of
Etosha where lion, elephant, cheetah, gemsbok, springbok,
