Mongolia Tours - Naadam Festival - Luxury Mongolia Holidays

In the 13th century the great Khans of Mongolia created the largest land empire the world has ever known stretching from the shores of the Pacific to the edge of Europe. Ulan Bator the countries capitol is the political, commercial and cultural centre. The Gobi Desert is home to several rare animals including Bactrian camels, snow leopards, Przhevalsky horses and Gobi bears.

The centuries old Naadam Festival is celebrated annually in mid July in Ulan Bator, when herdsmen travel from all over the country to take part in large-scale national games - wrestling, horseracing and archery.
