Peru - Inca Trail in style

Morocco – Explore the Atlas Mountains
For something closer to home, choose Bales’ 10 day Moroccan adventure, including the opportunity to trek in the Atlas Mountains. This trip starts with 3 nights at the decadent La Sultana hotel in Marrakech, a member of ‘Small Luxury Hotels of the World’, before heading to the foothills of the stunning Atlas Mountains. Here you will stay in Richard Branson’s private retreat the Kasbah Tamadot, with its fairytale complex of courtyards, intricately carved walls, staircases and terraced gardens – an ideal base for exploring this wild and remote landscape. Take a number of guided hikes through these remarkable mountains and steep river valleys, meet Berber villagers and really get to know this unique corner of the world. The circular guided walks are easy to moderate in difficulty, and take around 6 hours. Climb through juniper forests to the Marrigha Pass, gaze at panoramic views of Ouirgane Valley, enjoy a picnic lunch on the Tarabzeg Plateau and stop for tea in Berber villages on your return to the hotel. After a day walking the mountains head back to the Kasbah Tamadot for delicious cuisine, a spa treatment or traditional hammam, and even a cookery lesson.
New Zealand – Spectacular scenery
