The Pestana Convento do Carmo is a new first class hotel located in the historic Pelourinho district in Salvador – Latin America’s largest colonial complex classified as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Re-opened after extensive renovation it has been restored from a 16th century convent and includes a museum and small church. There are 70 rooms and leisure facilities include a swimming pool.
