 | The Tented Camp at Pushkar is erected every year on a permanent site on the edge of the Thar Desert just outside the city. It consists of well laid-out two-man tents spread over a large area surrounded by a security fence. There is a pleasant reception area, a large and well-stocked gift shop, coffee shop and restaurant tents and a separate bar tent with tables and chairs on a lawn outside. There are washing and toilet facilities at various locations around the camp, clearly signposted. The accommodation tents themselves are clean but basic and contain just two beds and chairs. They are lit by electric light, supplied by a main generator. |
