 | Taragarh Palace, located in the Kangra Valley, was built in the 1930s as a summer resort for the local royal family. There are 15 rooms, 11 of which (the ones used by Bales) have private facilities. These have been recently refurbished and are of a good standard, including large bathrooms with attractive tiling and polished granite floors. The palace has lots of atmosphere, and is decorated with hunting trophies and old sporting photographs. The well-maintained gardens are perfect for relaxation, and there is a modern outdoor swimming pool. |
