 | The Deer Lodge, located within walking distance of Lake Louise, was built in 1923 as a Tea House, and was converted into a hotel 2 years later. Today’s hotel still retains many of the original architectural features from this time. The lodge has 73 rooms. You are booked inn Heritage Rooms, which have two double beds, a private balcony, full bathroom, telephone, coffee-maker and hairdryer, and a complimentary in-room safe. For dining there is the choice of the Mount Fairview or the Lady Agnes restaurants, and there is also the charming Caribou Lounge Bar. There is a rooftop hot tub, with excellent views of the Victoria Glacier.
