Machu Picchu, Peru | The Inkaterra Machu Picchu (formerly the Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel) is a comfortable hotel located just outside the town of Machu Picchu. The hotel has 85 casitas (rooms) in one or two-storey cottages linked by stone pathways and set in 12 acres of gardens. Puerto Maldonado , Peru | Your accommodation in Puerto Maldonado will be at the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica, which consists of 41 thatched cabins on raised platforms with pitched roofs and large windows for ventilation. Each cabin has its own terrace complete with two hammocks and private bathroom. Accommodation is simple but comfortable. Lights and fans are solar powered and mosquito nets are provided. Credit cards are not accepted and bills must be settled in dollar cash. Meals are simple, fresh and filling, featuring river fish, rice salads and fresh fruit plus tea or coffee.
