Staff Favourites

You can travel from the Caribbean Coast to the Pacific Coast in the same day and in that time you can pass tropical rainforests, cloud forests, active volcanoes, rivers and waterfalls, banana and pineapple plantations, alpine like countryside, coffee fields and idyllic beaches. In the province of Guanacaste, the Pacific coast offers many gorgeous beaches but we discovered a gem of a beach called Playa Hermosa which has a peaceful fishing village feel to it and is frequented mainly by Costa Ricans rather than international tourists. It’s a very romantic beach and the sunsets are beautiful there too. I spent a lot of time there doing very little and it was perfect! In fact I think I could stay there forever! - Neil Carpenter
