SYDNEY & NEW SOUTH WALES

Sydney, with its majestic Opera House and iconic harbour bridge is a city to which visitors return again and again. Stroll through the historic Rocks – Australia’s birthplace, dine at one of Darling Harbours superb restaurants or take a scenic cruise to experience breathtaking views of Sydney’s skyline. A little further afield in New South Wales the Blue Mountains National Park is famed for its breathtaking scenery, with cascading waterfalls tumbling into sheer canyons, towering rainforests and craggy peaks that rise up to dominate the landscape. Home to almost 100 vineyards, the Hunter Valley is Australia’s oldest wine producing region and yet is just a 2 ½ hour drive from Sydney. Other highlights of this region include the coastal resorts of Port Stephens, home to a resident pod of dolphins and Byron Bay, a laid back beach resort.....

BRISBANE & SOUTHERN QUEENSLAND

Brisbane, the capital of Queensland is a vibrant city with lots to offer, from its man made beaches and lagoons along the South Bank, to its markets, museums and botanic gardens. There is also plenty of shopping to be done along Queen Street mall. Other places and attractions to visit in Southern Queensland is Lamington National Park, a rainforest home to a vast array of unique wildlife and birdlife, making it a natures lover’s paradise. Travel north of Brisbane and you will find the wonderful Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world and the trendy resort of Noosa. For those looking for somewhere lively the Gold Coast provides a wide array of entertainment for all ages.....

WHITSUNDAY ISLANDS, QUEENSLAND

Bordered by the Great Barrier Reef and cradled by the calm blue tropical waters of the Coral Sea,the Whitsundays consist of 74 different islands and Whitehaven Beach, voted the ‘Number 1 beach to see before you die.’ Catch a seaplane or helicopter for a private beach picnic, scuba dive or sail around the archipelago and over the reef, day or night. The Whitsundays are one of Australia’s most enticing destinations.....

CAIRNS & NORTHERN QUEENSLAND

Cairns is a lively resort with a vibrant waterfront and marina, one of the main gateways to the Great Barrier Reef. Just 30 minutes north of Cairns is Palm Cove, a small yet charming beach town boasting one of Australia’s cleanest beaches. Along the promenade the village sprawls, offering plenty of activities and entertainment, together with some stunningly luxurious accommodation. Worth a visit is the nearby mountain top village of Kuranda which you can access by train, rail or cable car. Further along the coast is the resort of Port Douglas and the Daintree Rainforest.....

DARWIN & THE TOP END, NORTHERN TERRITORY

Darwin is the gateway to some of Australia’s most scenic national parks and is renowned for its Australian cuisine with an Asian influence. A highlight during your stay would be to visit a local night market or perhaps visit the aboriginal Tiwi Islands. Other close by attractions include Kakadu National Park famed for its escarpments and wildlife including the saltwater crocodile and incredible birdlife and Litchfield National Park has its cascading waterfalls. Head to Katherine Gorge known by the aboriginal name Nitmiluk, and take a cruise in one of the most spectacular areas in the country, winding 12 km with walls over 70metres high.....

ALICE SPRINGS & KINGS CANYON, NORTHERN TERRITORY

Although ‘Alice’, as locals call it, has grown into a modern town, it wears its isolated Outback heritage on its sleeve. The ‘Red Centre’ thanks to its location and proximity to red coloured rock formations and red sand desert is a great base for the MacDonnell Mountain Ranges and other sights like Kings Canyon. The town is a cultural melting pot that will stir the imagination – the Flying Doctor concept originated here!....

ULURU (AYERS ROCK), NORTHERN TERRITORY

Instantly recognisable as Australia’s natural icon, the mighty sandstone monolith of Uluru stands at a towering 348 metres high and 3.6 kilometres long. Whether you walk around it or fly over this awe inspiring site you will find the ever changing colours simply staggering. Renowned as a major site of indigenous cultural importance, you will learn the site’s history and view the incredible art works which adorn its base. Make sure you allow time to explore the nearby domes of Kata Tjuta.....

PERTH & WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Perth is a vibrant, modern metropolis boasting some of the country’s best beaches, bustling markets, parks, outdoor dining and magnificent marine activities. The city also acts as a gateway to some of Australia’s least developed attractions, from the majestic limestone pillars of the ‘alien like’ Pinnacles Desert and the historic port of Fremantle to the stunning coral reefs of Rottnest Island and superb vineyards of Margaret River.....

ADELAIDE & SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Often overlooked for the likes of Sydney and Melbourne, Adelaide retains an understated elegance and sophisticated charm. Further afield kick back in the city’s leafy grounds or the white sands of Glenelg beach or cruise the mighty Murray River. The continent’s driest state, South Australia is a delight to explore: from the world famous wineries of the Barossa Valley to the stark landscapes around Coober Pedy....

KANGAROO ISLAND, SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Located just 45 minutes from the mainland, Kangaroo Island is teaming with wildlife. Beautifully preserved with over a third of the land protected by national park, spot koalas, echidnas, goannas, wallabies and of course kangaroo’s all in their natural environment. The island also boasts superb scenery, with rugged coastlines, turquoise seas, unusual rock formations and acres of wild bush all begging to be explored.....

MELBOURNE & VICTORIA

Melbourne, Victoria’s capital city, fittingly has a grand Victorian atmosphere, elegant architecture, tree-lined boulevards and a historic tram system. HOBART & TASMANIA

Hobart straddles the mouth of the Derwent River at the foot of the majestic Mt. Wellington and beautifully combines a rich colonial heritage with a unique setting. Its historic harbour and Georgian waterfront warehouses which once bustled with sailors and whalers is now a thriving centre for shoppers and houses the trendy cafés, sublime restaurants and delightful galleries for which the city is famed. Discover Port Arthur and the islands past convict era, or visit the much photographed Wineglass Bay in Freycinet National Park or the peaks of Cradle Mountain.
