The Orient - Cambodia - Country Information

Cambodia is bordered in the north by Laos and Thailand, in the east with Vietnam and in the southwest with the Gulf of Thailand. The capital, Phnom Penh, is situated at the junction of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers; the river Tonle Sap flows from a large inland lake of the same name. The ancient temple complex of Angkor is one of the most extraordinary architectural creations ever built with its intricate bas reliefs and soaring towers.
