Star in your own Bond adventure

As the much awaited James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, is released on 31 October, all eyes will be on the Latin American country of Panama which provides an unmistakable backdrop for much of the film. For die hard 007 fans, or those inspired to by the movie to head to South America, Bales Worldwide is launching a new‘Panama Bond Trail’.

Follow in the footsteps of Ian Fleming’s famed secret agent, this ten night break takes you right onto the South American set of the new movie. Fly out from Heathrow to Panama City and spend three nights at the centrally located Canal House Hotel, where Daniel Craig actually stayed during filming. Soak up the atmosphere as you retread the steps of James Bond through the colonial streets of the Casco Viejo (Old Town). Relax with a perfectly poured martini before slipping on your dancing shoes and heading out to one of the Casco’s many lively jazz clubs.

After experiencing the buzz of the city for a few days, jet off to spend a week topping up your film star tan on the virtually uninhabited island of Boca Brava in the gulf of Chiriqui. The boutique hotel of Cala Mia provides the location for you and your Bond girl (or your very own James Bond) to inject some of the customary romance into your South American Bond adventure. Stroll hand in hand down the deserted beaches and enjoy sunset dinners-a-deux listening to the sound of the waves lapping the shore before retiring to your own luxurious bungalow suite.

The ‘Panama Bond Trail’ costs from £2029 per person, based on two people travelling and includes return flights to Panama City, transfers and internal flights, three nights in Panama City at the Canal House Hotel, seven nights at the Boutique Hotel Cala Mia Island Resort, daily breakfast and a sightseeing tour of Panama City.
