Bales Worldwide (formerly known as Bales Tours) was a family run independent tour operator established by George Bales in 1947. Although the company is still run by a member of the Bales family (Mandy Nickerson nee Bales), it is now a part of the V-Hols (Virgin holidays) team, making Bales a stronger company.
Within a few years, the pioneering spirit of the Bales family had covered the globe. Our tours now range from Borneo to Tanzania, from Canada to the Galapagos, and Tibet to Morocco, offering a mix of the popular and the unusual.
