Seats in World Business Class on the Boeing 747-400 and MD11 are no less than 60 inches apart and can be tilted back as much as 150 degrees, for optimum sleeping comfort. You can adjust your head, back and foot supports to your liking, and you have your own reading light, video screen and telephone. The World Business Class on the Boeing 767 offers you a 55-inch seat pitch, and the seat can be tilted back up to 135 degrees. All functions of the new World Business Class sleeper seats on KLM’s latest aircraft, the Boeing 777, are controlled at the touch of a button. These seats measure 190 cm in length, are 60 inches apart and can be tilted back to an almost horizontal (170 degrees) position. The many functions offered by this modern recliner include an inflatable lumbar support, a massage setting and an electrical outlet for using your laptop without an electricity adapter (suitable for North American, Japanese and all European plugs except for those issued in the UK). The recliner has a privacy canopy, a large video screen located in the armrest, its own reading light and a telephone.

You can choose from various three-course menus, put together in collaboration with Alliance Gastronomique. The wine menu is compiled by connoisseur Hubrecht Duijker. On late flights, you may also choose a light meal or a snack. And feel free to help yourself to a snack or drink in the pantry whenever you want.

For your entertainment you have access to no fewer than 12 video and 12 audio channels with digital CD sound quality. The Boeing 767 offers you 6 video channels and 9 audio channels. The Boeing 777 has a modern digital audio- and video-on-demand system. Since this system is completely interactive, you can start a film or audio program at any time you wish. The new audio-video system is equipped to provide you with feature films, music, games and flight-related information, all in several languages. International magazines and newspapers are also available.

Before the end of the flight, up-to-date transfer information (gate numbers and current departure times) is displayed on the monitors. World Business Class passengers are allowed to disembark from the plane first. World Business Class is available on all intercontinental flights aboard Boeing 747, 767, 777 and MD-11 aircraft.
