 | Emerald Lake Lodge sits on a 13-acre peninsula overlooking Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park. Built in 1902 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, the lodge has 85 rooms of various categories housed in 24 chalet-style timber buildings. All offer a wood-burning stone fireplace and a private balcony, the majority with clear views of the lake. Enjoy the serene silence of this beautiful retreat (there is no motor traffic, and no televisions in the rooms), and savour the renowned Rocky Mountain Cuisine in the lodge’s award-winning Mount Burgess Dining Room, or the more relaxed Californian cuisine at Cilantro’s on the Lake. All rooms at the lodge are non-smoking. |
