 | Located approximately 19 miles from the city of Manaus on the banks of the Puraquequara Lake, the Amazon Village offers simple, rustic accommodation in the rainforest. Transfer from Manaus to the lodge is by boat. The rooms have private facilities and mosquito screens; lighting is by lantern (there is no electricity). The dining room offers simple local dishes. Hot water is not available. Due to the canoe transfer, your main luggage will be left in store at Manaus and only the necessities for three days should be taken in an overnight bag (maximum weight 5kg per person).
