The Palace Hotel in Hakone is a modern hotel set high up on a hillside overlooking the surrounding hills, Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji. There are 97 rooms overlooking either the mountains or the lake. There is a choice of restaurants, a coffee shop and a French restaurant with a Tepanyaki corner. The hot-spring ‘onsen’ has inside and outside areas and a sauna.
