Morning departure by British Airways from London Heathrow to Delhi arriving in the late evening. Transfer to the Oberoi Hotel for two nights. The Oberoi is one of Delhi’s most established hotels with a wide range of facilities including a golf course.

Morning at leisure. Afternoon tour of Old Delhi including the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk.

Transferring by road to Agra (204 KM/approximately 5 hours), today’s journey takes you via the town of Sikandra, site of the tomb of the Moghul Emperor Akbar the Great, an imposing monument that combines the finest examples of Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, Jain and Islamic designs. Continue to Agra for your stay at The Oberoi Amarvilâs.

Morning visit to the Taj Mahal, built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a mausoleum for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, and now one of the world’s most famous landmarks. You will also spend time exploring the massive red sandstone Agra Fort. The afternoon is free to relax in the surrounds of your hotel.

The evocative city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by Akbar in the late 16th century has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town”. Visit this most captivating of sites today, enjoying the serene majesty of its elegant architecture en route to the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur (233 KM/approximately 8½ hours including stops). On arrival check into The Oberoi Rajvilâs where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure.

This morning visit the palace complex of Amber Fort, overlooking the tranquil waters of Maotha Lake. The treasure house of the Kachwaha rulers during the 16th century, this spectacular fortress is home to the marvellous chamber of the dazzling ‘Hall of Mirrors’. This afternoon there will be a city tour, including the magnificent City Palace, the seat of the ruling elite for over 200 years, and the elegant façade of the Hawa Mahal, the spectacular Palace of the Winds, built by King Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799, and one of Jaipur’s photographic highlights.

Morning transfer to the airport for the Jet Airways flight to Udaipur (45 minutes) where you will transfer on arrival to The Oberoi Udaivilâs. The rest of the day is at leisure.

A morning tour of Udaipur takes in the splendours of this ‘City of Lakes’, including the scenic majesty of Sahelion ki Bari and Fateh Sagar Lake, the stunning Rajput architecture of the beautiful Lake Palace and Jagdish Temple, and the tranquil serenity of the Gulab Niwas Garden. The afternoon is at leisure.
