Arrive in Cairo on an EgyptAir flight from London Heathrow and
transfer to Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel in Giza, close to the Pyramids.

The next two days have been left free to enjoy the myriad
of delights that the Egyptian capital has to offer; a rich fusion of ancient
treasures, bustling souks and the eclectic vibrancy of Africa’s most
populous city. Not to be missed are the Great Pyramids and Sphinx at
Giza, easily reached from your hotel, the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in
the centre of Cairo and the superb monuments at ancient Memphis and
Saqqara.

Morning flight to Aswan to embark on the Mövenpick Radamis II
in time for lunch. This morning there is the option of visiting the incredible
temples of Abu Simbel by air. Please advise at the time of booking if you
would like to take this excursion. This
afternoon visit the Aswan High Dam, the Granite Quarries, with its immense
unfinished obelisk and the beautiful island Temple of Philae.

Sail to the riverside setting of Kom Ombo, to visit the magnificent
ruins of its Ptolemaic temple, dedicated to the twin gods, Horus and Sobek,
before continuing to Edfu and its superbly preserved Temple. Sail to Esna
where you will overnight.

Cruising to Luxor affords the opportunity to enjoy the landscapes of
the Nile Valley, before your arrival in the once ancient city of Thebes. This
afternoon visit the spectacular temples of Karnak and Luxor.

Disembark the Ramadis II after breakfast and cross to the West Bank
to visit the remarkable tombs of the Valley of the Kings, the final resting
place of some of Egypt’s most renowned Pharaohs. You will also visit the
nearby Valley of the Queens and the imposing grandeur of the Temple of
Queen Hatshepsut, before returning to Luxor via the haunting Colossi of
Memnon. On arrival back in Luxor transfer to the Sonesta St George.

At leisure to enjoy a number of optional excursions. There is the
option of rising at dawn to take a hot air balloon flight over Luxor. Please
advise at the time of booking if you would like to take this excursion.

Fly back to Cairo, to utilise day rooms at Le Passage Heliopolis Hotel
before an evening flight on EgyptAir to Nairobi, Kenya.

Arriving early this morning you transfer to the Nairobi
InterContinental Hotel for breakfast. Joining with the clients on the Masai
Mara Safari, we then head north, to the Aberdare Country Club. Following
lunch continue towards The Ark, a truly unique tree-lodge, where you will be
spending the night overlooking the waterhole.

A morning’s drive brings us to the shores of Lake Nakuru, home to
thousands of brilliantly colourful flamingos, whose regular flights turn the
still waters of the alkaline lake into a blaze of colour, where you stay at Lion
Hill Lodge. This afternoon you will enjoy a game drive.

As well as the ever-present flamingos, the park also boasts one
of the most dense concentrations of wildlife on the continent, including
leopard, baboon, rare black rhino and some 400 species of birds. There will
be both morning and afternoon game drives.

Today drive to the Masai Mara, for your stay at the Masai Mara
Simba Lodge. This afternoon enjoy a game drive across the park, in search
of the famous ‘Big Five’ (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) that thrives
amongst the grasslands and banks of the Mara and Talek Rivers.

The Masai Mara is considered one of Africa’s most spectacular
safari destinations. It contains amongst its teeming wildlife almost every
species to be found in East Africa. Its rich savannahs echo to the sound of
lion and leopard, rhino and elephant, whilst its expansive plains thunder
beneath the hooves of countless thousands of zebra, antelope and
wildebeest. There are few places on earth where man and nature can
come together in such an impressive display of majesty and splendour.
Spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives, making the most
of the time allowed to us in this fabulous arena.

A final morning’s game drive, before returning by road to Nairobi,
where day rooms will be available at the Nairobi InterContinental Hotel,
prior to the evening British Airways flight back to London.
