Morning flight from London Gatwick by Virgin Atlantic to Bridgetown. Connect
with an onward flight to Georgetown, arriving in the evening. Stay at the Cara Lodge.

Enjoy an included excursion by air to the magnificent Kaieteur Falls, one of the
world’s natural wonders, five times the height of the Niagara Falls.

Morning light aircraft flight to Iwokrama, an area gaining a reputation for its
healthy jaguar population. Stay at the Iwokrama Field Station. After dinner there will be
an excursion on the river to look for caiman and other nocturnal wildlife

Early morning boat ride before setting off on a fairly difficult walk up Turtle
Mountain for stunning views over the forest canopy. Other activities can be arranged
for those who choose not to attempt the walk. Also visit Kurupukari Falls.

Dawn wildlife walk in search of jaguar. Later visit the Iwokrama Canopy Walkway
located 35 metres high in the canopy. Stay at the Atta Rainforest Lodge

Welcome the dawn chorus from the canopy walkway. After breakfast, take
another trail in Iwokrama to hopefully see the brilliant Guianian Cock-of-the Rock.
Continue to the Amerindian village of Surama. Stay at the Surama Eco-Lodge.

A strenuous walk to the summit of Surama Mountain in the cool of the morning,
spotting excellent birdlife en route. Afternoon walk through the rainforest to the Burro
Burro River to see giant river otters, tapir, spider monkeys and more species.

Today drive across the savannah to the village of Annai. Stay at Rock View
Lodge, whose gardens and flowering trees attract many species of birds.

Free for bird watching, walking, visiting local villages or horse riding.

This morning, take a boat trip on the Rupununi River to reach Karanambu.
Your stay is at Karanambu Ranch, the home of Diane McTurk and her family, known
internationally for their work in rehabilitating giant river otters to the wild.

Visit the Rupununi River in search of giant river otters and black caiman.
