Evening departure from London Heathrow by British Airways or similar for
Buenos Aires.

Arrive at Buenos Aires in the morning and transfer to the Claridge Hotel. In
the afternoon, enjoy a tour of the city, taking in the parks and gardens at Palermo,
the colourful ‘barrios’ of San Telmo and La Boca, the grandiose architecture of
Government House and the elaborate mausoleums of La Recoleta Cemetery

A 2 hour flight takes you to San Carlos de Bariloche, gateway to the Lake
District. The transfer to the Llao Llao Hotel & Resort Golf - Spa, where you stay in
Mountain View Rooms, will be via some of the area’s scenic attractions.

At leisure to either enjoy the surroundings of your beautiful hotel (pictured

Fly to Calafate and transfer to the Alto Calafate Hotel, situated on the outskirts
of the town, with distant views of snow-capped peaks and Lago Argentino.

Today visit the magnificent setting of Perito Moreno, the immense and awe
inspiring glacier that truly is one of this continent’s most spectacular sights. Dramatic
in the extreme, 5 kms wide, it is a constant source of calving icebergs, set before
towering walls of sheer blue ice that rise some 60 metres above the icy waters

Free with optional tours available, perhaps taking a cruise on the icy waters of
Lago Argentino viewing the Upsala and Onelli Glaciers, or a full day visit to Fitzroy.

Fly south to Ushuaia the world’s southernmost city and main centre of the
windswept mountainous island of Tierra del Fuego. Stay at the Los Cauquenes Hotel
(or similar). Afternoon city sightseeing including a visit to the Maritime Museum

A morning cruise along the famous Beagle Channel affords the opportunity
to follow in the footsteps of some of history’s pioneering adventurers, enjoying the
spectacular vistas of the southern oceans and some of the marine life that hunts
and plays amidst these rich seas. Dotted with bays and inlets that are home to seals,
penguins and countless seabirds, this is a landscape of captivating majesty.

Fly to Buenos Aires and stay overnight at the Claridge Hotel. Clients taking
the Valdes Peninsula extension will fly from Ushuaia to Trelew in the evening.
