Afternoon non-stop flight by EgyptAir from London Heathrow to Cairo. On arrival
you will be met and taken direct to Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel at Giza.

At leisure in Cairo. The bustling vibrancy of Cairo hides a wealth
of hidden treasures amongst its labyrinthine streets and alleys. You have ample
opportunity to find for yourselves the truly staggering array of historical and cultural
gems that wait to be discovered. From the magnificent splendours of the Pyramids
and Sphinx, to the majestic testaments to the city’s Coptic and Islamic past, Cairo’s
colourful streets and bazaars are overflowing with wonders.

Morning flight to Aswan and embark on the Movenpick Royal Lotus. There
is the option of visiting the temples of Abu Simbel by air. Please advise at the time

This morning visit the remarkable construction of the High Dam, the gigantic
unfinished obelisk and the beautiful Temple of Isis on the island of Philae, before
beginning your journey along the tranquil and ageless course of the Nile Valley. Sail
first to the Ptolemaic Temple of Kom Ombo, unusual in that it is dedicated to twin
Gods - Sobek and Horus. After your visit continue to Edfu, where you overnight.

Morning visit to the exceptionally well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu. From
here sail through the lock at Esna to Luxor, where you moor for the night.

Luxor, the site of Ancient Thebes, was once the sacred centre of the worship
of Amun-Re, the supreme deity of the Middle and New Kingdoms. This morning visit
the West Bank, where the tombs of the Pharaohs and their consorts lie amidst the
stark landscape of the Valley of the Kings and Queens. You also visit the magnificent
mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, before returning to the boat
for lunch. This afternoon visit Luxor Temple and the immense grandeur of Karnak,
before returning for your final evening onboard.
