Flying on EgyptAir from London Heathrow this afternoon, you arrive in the
Egyptian capital later today and transfer to the historic Mena House Oberoi Hotel
(Garden Wing) close to the Pyramids of Giza.

The next two days have been left free to enjoy Cairo’s myriad of wonders
at your own pace. There are numerous optional excursions available, including the
Great Pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza, the magnificent Egyptian Museum and the

Fly to Luxor today and embark on the Oberoi Philae in time for lunch. This
afternoon sail north to Qena.

Morning visit by bus to the often overlooked Temple of Hathor at Denderah, a
superb site dating from the 2nd century BC and famed for its wonderful astronomical
ceiling. Sail back to Luxor this afternoon

After a free morning, visit the impressive Karnak Temple, with its vast and
imposing Hypostyle Hall of 137 columns, before continuing onto the spectacular XVIIIth
Dynasty Luxor Temple.

Today you will take in the remarkable tombs in the Valleys of the Kings and
Queens on Luxor’s West Bank. Returning via the Temple of Medinet Habu and the

Sailing to Edfu visit the stunning Temple of Horus (237 BC), before continuing to
