Morning KLM flight from London Heathrow to Amsterdam and then onto
Kilimanjaro, where you connect with a private transfer to Arusha. Overnight at the
Serena Mountain Village

Driving to Tarangire National Park you enter a world populated by huge herds
of elephant and buffalo, where lion, leopard and cheetah hunt with impunity. Your
driver/guide is an experienced wildlife expert whose knowledge and ability to spot
the animals and birds will astound you. This afternoon enjoy your first game drive
through this remarkable landscape, before an overnight stay at the Tarangire Sopa
Lodge.

Enjoying a morning’s game viewing, you then continue to Gibbs Farm, nestling
in the shadow of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you enjoy lunch. From
here continue to the Ngorongoro Crater for your stay at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

The world’s largest intact caldera (collapsed volcano), the Ngorongoro Crater
boasts the largest concentration of wildlife on the African continent, with some
30,000 animals playing out a constant battle for survival across its spectacular plains.
Today you descend the 600 metres into the crater by 4-wheel-drive vehicles for a full
day’s safari.

Travelling via Olduvai Gorge, where some of the planet’s earliest evidence of
human existence was found in the 1950s by Professor Louis Leakey, you continue to
the Serengeti National Park for a stay at
the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge

of this magnificent setting. The endless plains are matched by the seemingly endless
wildlife that sweeps across these timeless vistas. On your game drive today you have

elephant, as well as huge herds of zebra and wildebeest

A morning’s drive into the Great Rift Valley brings us to Lake Manyara, where
an afternoon’s game viewing should hopefully afford you the chance of catching
a glimpse of Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions. Overnight at the Lake Manyara
