Day 9
After an overnight stay at the Radisson, fly to Kathmandu (½ hours), capital of the Kingdom of Nepal, and transfer to the Radisson Hotel for a 3 night stay. Afternoon free.

Day 10
A half day city tour has been arranged, including a visit to the hilltop temple of Swayambhunath which dominates the Kathmandu Valley. The rest of the time is at leisure, with a selection of optional excursions available, including the medieval cities of Patan or Bhadgaon, the latter now designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or the Hindu pilgrimage town of Pasupatinath. Scenic flights to view Everest and the other Himalayan peaks can also be taken.
