This journey takes us from the Kathmandu Valley onto the high plains of the Tibetan Plateau, where Heaven and Earth clash against the backdrop of the Himalayas. From Tibet’s revered capital we travel across a land rich in the cultural trappings of its Buddhist faith, exploring a world blessed with remote, ancient monasteries and palaces. On the special Longer Duration departures additional time is given in Lhasa, Gyantse and Shigatse.
