Days 2+3+10 : Olive Grove

Olive Grove Guesthouse is located in a peaceful area of Windhoek and features 11 individually decorated rooms. Each room has a large verandah with tables and chairs for al fresco dining. The open-air lounge, spa bath, plunge pool and tranquil garden all invite the visitor to unwind and relax under Namibia’s open skies. Day 4 : Auob Lodge

Auob Lodge is a green oasis in the Kalahari landscape, situated on the banks of the dry Auob River. Auob lodge provides a peaceful atmosphere in which to relax in the Kalahari desert. The lodge offers 26 ensuite double rooms, a restaurant, a lapa, a TV room and a lounge with fireplace for chilly winter evenings.

Day 5 : Canon Lodge

Cañon Village fits snugly into thee mountainous surroundings of the splendid Godwana Cañon Park and affords easy access to thee Fish River Canyon, which is only 20 KM away. Cape Dutch cottages, each with ensuite facilities, are combined with a fully equipped restaurant, swimming pool and generous lapa to provide much relief to sun-drenched visitors. The work of Namibian artists on the walls of the restaurant and bungalows afford guests a glance into thee lifestyle and culture of the early inhabitants of this area - the Bondelswart-Nama. A variety of activities include, horse riding, Sundowner drives and a splendid walking trails.

Day 7 : Hammersteine Rest Camp

Hammerstein Rest Camp is situated an hour’s drive southwest of Maltahöhe, in scenic surroundings below the Tsaris Pass. The German name of the farm is derived from one of the granite boulders in the vicinity, an enormous rock shaped like a hammer. Guests have a choice of camping facilities, bungalows equipped for self-catering, or lodging in one of the 24 twin-bedded rooms with ensuite. A swimming pool, bar and restaurant serving typical Namibian dishes complete this overnight facility situated a mere 80km from Sesriem, gateway to the famous Sossusvlei.

Day 8 : Namib Naukluft Lodge

The Namib Naukluft Lodge is located on a 13,000 hectare farm in the heart of the Namib Desert. A stunning scenery invites visitors to walks and nature drives. Each of the 16 tastefully furnished rooms offer ensuite facilities and a private spacious verandah with a striking view. Relax in the lounge and enjoy a typical sundowner on the main verandah or at the bar. Excellent traditional meals are served in the restaurant, the adjacent verandah or in the boma from the open fire.

Day 9 : Hansa Hotel

The Hansa Hotel is a timeless classic built in 1905 which makes it one of Swakopmund’s oldest hotels. Located in the centre of town, the hotel offers 52 rooms all of which are individually decorated. The restaurant is among the most popular in Swakopmund; the residents bar features a large fireplace, which offers welcome relief from the cool Swakop night temperatures. The Hansa Hotel also has a secluded garden courtyard, which is well protected from the Swakopmund weather. All the rooms are well equipped and the ensuite bathrooms feature under floor heating. The restaurant is renowned for seafood and game specialties and also offers a unique wine list.
