Days 2+3 : Maidens Hotel

The Maidens Hotel, Delhi, is located in a residential area of Old Delhi approximately 25 minutes drive from Connaught Place, the main shopping centre of New Delhi, and 50 minutes' drive from the airport. It is an older style property built in colonial days, hence its stately appearance and atmosphere. Days 8+9 : Khimsar Fort

The founder of Khimsar Fort, which was built mid 15th century was Prince Karamsi – son of Rao Jodhaji, the founder of Jodhpur. Located 90km from Jodhpur, the Fort comprises of 50 well kept rooms, all with air conditioning, fridge and private facilities. The fort has a swimming pool as well as an in-house museum offering an interesting insight into the history of the royal family.
