The Libertador Ciudad Blanca Hotel in Arequipa has 88 rooms and 4 suites, and is just outside the city centre in Selva Alegre and was built in colonial style in 1940. The hotel has three adjacent parks, as well as pleasant grounds and a swimming pool. It is located only 15 minutes from the airport.

Day 7 : Casa Andina

Accommodation at the Casa Andina in Chivay (near the Colca Canyon) is fairly basic, as this region has only recently opened for tourism and development is still in its early stages.

Days 8+9 : The Libertador Lago Titicaca Hotel

Days 10+11+12+14 : The Libertador Palacio del Inka Hotel

The Libertador Palacio del Inka Hotel in Cusco was built by Francisco Pizarro, the first Spanish Governor of Peru. He built the 258 room Casa de los Cuatro Bustos as his own palace. In 1976 this building was transformed into the Libertador Hotel. The hotel is opposite the city’s famous Temple of the Sun and close to Plaza de Armas. Like the Monasterio, the original building gives this hotel character, as well as five star accommodation.

Day 13 : Inkaterra Machu Picchu

The Inkaterra Machu Picchu (formerly known as the Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel) is set in the village of Aguas Calientes below Machu Picchu. The rooms of this hotel are set out in cottages in the hotel grounds. The main building has a spacious lounge and open fire, and is a short walk from the village with its busy market and excellent local restaurants.
