The Oberoi Philae is modelled on a traditional Nile paddle-wheeler and offers 58 deluxe cabins, each with a small private balcony. There is a lounge, a sophisticated bar and first-class restaurant; other facilities include a beauty salon and barber shop, a gift shop, plunge pool and sun deck. You may request an upgrade to a suite on the Oberoi Philae for a supplement of £1030 per person in a twin (subject to availability). Please note that an Egyptian themed evening and a black and white dinner usually take place during the cruise.

For the second stay in Cairo, accommodation is at the Le Passage Heliopolis Hotel. Located at Cairo International Airport, all rooms are soundproof and have private facilities with mini-bar, telephone and television with in-house video. Facilities include a 24-hour coffee shop; the gourmet 'El Sarraya' restaurant; shopping arcade; bank; swimming pool and two floodlit tennis courts. The hotel has a courtesy shuttle bus into central Cairo.
